Legendary magician Max Malini is buried in an unmarked grave near gate 47 of the Waldheim cemeteries (B'nai Abraham Zion). He is buried next to his wife Lizzie who died in 1921 and is buried under the name Lizzie Katz. (Katz is Max's real last name.) Even though the original records do list both as Malini.
The office for the cemetary is at 1400 S. Des Plaines ave. Gate 47 is less than a half a block south and on the east side of the street. The full number set is Gate 47, Lot 137, Section D, Row 11, Grave 6.
